AAGRA provides a unique network of record agents and genealogists accredited for their qualifications and career experience and adoption of a strict Code of Ethics.

Fees are charged on the basis of time spent and costs involved in handling the commission including:

  • analysis of the problems;
  • researching records;
  • assessing the results;
  • preparing reports and
  • payment of expenses incurred on behalf of the client.

An agreed sum of money is required before the commencement of a project. At the expiration of the advance it remains with the client to decide whether he or she wishes to continue.

Always request specific details of charges from your selected AAGRA member before authorising research.
