Locating passenger lists in Australia often depends upon where they landed.  Some records are withing State Libraries and State Record Offices, some are listed on the National Archives of Australia and others have been digitised and can be searched on subscription sites like Ancestry and Findmypast (keep in mind you can access these sites for free at most State Libraries).  Some arrivals were reported in newspapers so that is always worth searching too.
